What "Made to Order" Means at Farzana Shah

Made to order is different from mass production and different from full bespoke tailoring — it sits in between. Each piece is made using your selected size from our standard size range, cut and sewn only once your order is placed, rather than manufactured in bulk ahead of demand.

The result is a piece made with more care and less waste, using premium silk, linen, and crepe fabrics that are worth that extra attention. It also means every order is genuinely fresh — not sitting in storage, not handled by dozens of hands before it reaches you.

How It Works, Step by Step

1. Place your order

Select your size and color from the options available on each product page. If you're unsure of sizing, see the guidance below or reach out before ordering.

2. Your piece enters production

Once your order is confirmed, your piece is cut and tailored specifically for that order. This is the stage that takes the most time — and the reason made-to-order pieces aren't available for instant shipping.

3. Quality check and finishing

Every piece is inspected for fit, stitching, and finish before it leaves production.

4. Delivery

Once complete, your order is shipped with complimentary delivery across the UAE.

Timelines

Because each piece is made after you order — not pulled from existing stock — production takes longer than a typical fast-fashion purchase. Please allow the timeframe noted at checkout for your specific piece, and expect this to run longer during high-demand periods (holidays, wedding season, and major sale events).
